The SHERU has 11 PhD integrated researchers, 3 in PhD process, and 2 Collaborator Researchers. They all are teachers in this institution. They are PhDs in sports science, physical education and health sciences, in diversified specialties, often with complementary training, or in different areas, but with work, interest and skills that enrich the team. They have been participating in Research Centers and research projects, and their main activity has been to guide academic work of students, the majority at the level of Master theses and some of PhD, having their scientific production materialized in communications at national and international congresses, conferences or training courses, publication of books or book chapters and articles in national or international scientific journals, mostly with peer review, on areas as diverse as specifics such as Sport and Training, Children’s Motricity, Gerontomotricity and Aging, Adapted Sport, Sports Pedagogy and others.
